Komoot Team Gathering — Tuscany

As a fully remote company, komoot gatherings are core to our culture. They enable us to connect, welcome new members, share ideas, reflect, and learn from each other. And of course, they are the perfect opportunity for an outdoor adventure! Gatherings foster our team spirit, improve our collaboration, productivity and the overall happiness of everyone.

Covid Precautions:
This was our first in-person gathering since January 2020, and the pandemic confirmed how crucial this time together is. With our team’s health and safety top of mind, here are the safety precautions we took to make it happen:
● We exceeded the minimal travel requirements (for example, we mandated PCR testing before travel to both vaccinated and unvaccinated members).
● 90% of our team members were vaccinated.
● We designed a fully outdoor program, and required FPP2 masks when indoor.
● We offered single occupancy room or tent accommodations.
● In addition to PCR testing before travel, we required daily rapid testing and a PCR before traveling back home.
● One team member tested positive before traveling and stayed home.
● We had no known cases during or after the gathering.
● The result? Happiness of the komoot team increased by 100%!
