Lake Como, Italy Wedding
FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:
What an amazing experience to be able to travel to Lake Como in Milan for this beautiful wedding!
There is of course longer versions of this video I made for the couple but those are for private viewing as of now.
See if you can point out the c200 and Canon r6 outdoor footage (you read that right, not the R5).
I will make this clear though, I do not trust the R6 for long recording times in 4k as I got a heat warning once after 15 minutes a week after this during a live show(yes I updated the firmware as of Nov 2021). That being said, its still a beast in other ways(still not for the price overall, for my purposes). I trust it for short clips and stacked up next to the c200 I can’t tell the difference outside of the editing room when pushing the image.
The indoor dinner footage was on the gh5s, still a good choice for many settings and I even used it next to the r6 and c200 during the ceremony, and you can’t really tell which is which. It’s good for low light, but of course I’d still choose the Sony a7siii if low light were my biggest concern. For weddings I find no issue mixing the drastic differences between the cameras I chose for this wedding, but I sometimes like to be foolish and try new things, how else would we learn? I have since updated my wedding setup and will be introducing the c70 to replace the r6 or gh5s, we’ll see. I use my cameras a lot and know how to work them and so I find matching them in post not too cumbersome… until it is cumbersome haha. Hence the c70 coming into play.
stabilizer:
Zhiyun Crane 3s.
It gets a lot of hate from YouTubers that try it out for an hour, but I know how to use it so no issues here. My main issue with it if I have to find something is I have to always reset the measurements when packing it up but I don’t see a way around that for now, and its tough to make micro adjustments with 2 of the 3 axis.
cameras:
c200 B because its cheaper and storage isn’t (with atomos shinobi) 24-70 f2.8
canon r6 with 24-105 f4(not my first choice for video)
gh5s maybe the 12-60 (4k 10 bit)
… kinda random?
Thats a lot of writing oops. DM/email if you wanna learn more!
