Lauren Cornwell – Project 2 – FESCH.TV
FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:
I had a lot of fun with this project. The idea was heavily inspired by how we, as humans, treat the non-human people we call “pets.” I chose to frame the film itself as a translated version of an alien informational film. The English voice and text are translations. The orange symbols behind the English text are meant to be the alien writing. I really wish I’d had time to develop a whole conlang and writing style of the aliens, but that seemed outside the scope of this project, so I chose to simply use a symbol font instead. A solid concept gave me a strong start on this project, but I could have pursued a narrator sooner which would have given me more choice of audio. That said, I am happy with the narration I have.
