Welcome to part 2 of our travel review series. This is the second installment of our Carnival Cruise Legend voyage to The Bahamas. Day one at sea was certainly an ethereal thing to wake up to. Having booked a balcony stateroom, this feeling of freedom and relaxation was quickly achieved! Watched the sunrise every morning and chilled out about the ship. The food court on the Lido deck (9) has the best food on the ship in our opinion. There were plenty of places to explore on the ship between meals and perhaps a quick nap here and there. A great way to start the week. All this food is included in your total price except speciality dining. That review will be posted separately as the last of this series. The variety of food on the Lido deck was amazing. Lavishly decorated cakes celebrating Mardi Gras made it difficult to say no to sweets. That, and 24/7 soft-serve ice cream sealed the deal. Ran back to the privacy of the stateroom to enjoy this treat. Never bored nor forced to eat the same things twice. Unless we wanted to! Our first port will be Nassau.
