Hi y’all! We’re Donna and Amanda, the mother-daughter founders of DD Bird.

DD Bird is a lifestyle brand for women on the go- women just like us who find themselves with lots to pack and organize and a desire to look great while taking on their day.

Before creating DD Bird, we traveled a lot together. And while on a flight to somewhere sunny, we slid our designer carryons under the seats in front of us like we always do. Shortly after the plane took off, we watched our belongings roll down the isle. Our bags had no top zippers to keep our things secure and no pockets to keep us organized. We knew we needed more.

We worked for a year to create the perfect tote design. A tote for travel, motherhood, work, and leisure.

The name DD Bird comes from my momma, Donna Dee Bird, and is an ode to her fearlessness and classic style.

There are few things that ring true in life. Gingham makes everything prettier. You can never pack too much. And your bag should be as fabulous as you are.
