Edward Soppet is a Financial Headhunter working in the Asia-Pacific region. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Seats, a Front Office Financial Markets Platform. The company is still new, yet it is slated to grow and help those in the industry.

Before founding Seats, Edward Soppet worked with Odin Partners. The company was founded in 2015 and is an executive search firm operating across the investment banking sector. Ted is very proud of his time with Odin Partners, including how he helped the company grow. He now intends to use everything he learned there to help advance Seats’ goals.

Edward Soppet has years of experience in his field, including time spent at Cazar Search in Hong Kong as a Senior Consultant. Before launching his career, Ted attended Bloxham School in Oxfordshire, UK. Upon graduation, he went to Leeds Metropolitan University, obtaining a BA in International Relations and French. Finally, he attended the Université Blaise Pascal in Clermont-Ferrand, earning a BS in International Business.

When not busy with work, Edward Soppet enjoys exercise and travel. These are two of his greatest passions. Regarding travel, Edward loves finding any excuse possible to get out into the world and see nature with his own eyes. His favorite sights include waterfalls, national parks, and canyons. Thankfully, his work has enabled Ted to do so much traveling, especially around the eastern regions.

Edward Soppet has always enjoyed sports as a pastime. In particular, he enjoys Golf, Yoga, Cricket, Football, calisthenics, and bodyweight workouts. Of course, we can’t forget about his passion for Rugby. Ted played for the England Counties and South West England U20 Rugby Union. In addition, Ted was an Academy Rugby Player at ASM Clermont Auvergne in Clermont-Ferrand, France (2012 and 2013).

There are many passions and concerns that Edward Soppet holds dear. For example, he cares greatly about sustainability. In particular, he is concerned about the bleaching of coral reefs. Edward hopes that humanity can come together and agree on a solution to prevent this situation from worsening. Finally, Edward Soppet feels it is essential to support local charities, especially those helping the homeless in HK and Asia.
