Memories of Vienna. Vienna in Autumn.

Vienna is a beautiful city in all seasons. Its historical, cultural and artistic heritage is vast. I was lucky enough to visit it in Autumn, in particular at the end of November, when the spirit of Christmas was already in the air. I can assure you that it is a good time even if the weather is not always ideal. After all, even under a gray sky, places like Schönbrunn, the Hofburg or St. Stephen’s Cathedral fully retain their imperial charm. And if daylight is shorter, on the other side in the evening the city shines with an infinity of captivating lights.

In this short video I have tried to re-propose to you in an imaginary sequence of one day the still vivid memories that remain of that experience. Given the difficult times, in which the pandemic affects our lives and our ability to travel, I thought I’d share those images with you and with them the hope that we can return to move freely.

The shots date back to 2015 and were shot with the old Canon Legria. For editing and color correction I used Cyberlink PowerDirector suite 5. The splendid photos are by Francesca Sparatore who at the time traveled the world with a Nikon D3100.
