Monday, August 9, 2021: Another Manic Monday. Dad was up at 5:30 doing client work, Cian slept in until 9:30 am … the duo got to their day. Dad working on retail mailouts and mailing lists. Shredded wheat/OJ for breakfast. Lunch shift with Grubhub in Bellingham 2.5 hours (3 deliveries) avg. 14hr vs normal 30hr. Tips poor today. Last guy consistent no tipper. Heat wave and watch up to 98-100 today. Back to warehouse for lunch, pantry in the park, post office, paying bills. Playing with the lizards and hermit crabs. Afternoon GH shift, back to the warehouse and Cian practiced balance on biking and hoverboard. Pad Thai for dinner with chicken and vegetables. Cian liked the pad thai and excited about it. More client work, then they watched the newest version of Charmed. News: All the bedsare taken up by COVID victims. Excessive heat watch issued for most of western Washington. If Florida was a nation, US would consider a COVID travel ban. Gov Inslee expected to announce state employee vaccine mandate monday. Breakthrough cases on the rise.
