My room looks like a lie

« The symbol of stability and protection that the room represents becomes unstable and fragile, subject to constant transformation. Created through a life-size transparent polyvinyl chloride model activated by invisible pipes, the artist’s travelling“inflatable bedroom” transplants its strangeness to natural or urban spaces. The camera films the artist lying silently in this bubble, as intimate as it is deceptive, then rising from the vanishing bed. Each time, as if in the mystery of a dream, the room disintegrates in ghostly fashion ,leaving a troubling impression of disorientation and the impossibility of refuge. »

In my work, the house or the room is not only a building or a living space, but also the symbol of boundaries on a smaller scale. These are spaces that reflect individual or social identity, psychological space and more. The fragile, unstable, light materials that I use for my performance and installation remind us of the fragility and uncertainty of everyday life and all we believe and try to keep or fear to see disappearing. My room is limited,beautiful, and uncertain like a lie.
