A description of the film competition

My first fashion clothes collection dedicated to the wild cats – tigers. The collection was developed as my University semester project. When I found out that this semester our theme will be animals, I used internet as my source of the information to get to know more about predators. That’s how the search for the inspiration began. I came across the video which included lots of facts about predators. I was intrigued by the fact that the tigers’ stripes are unique, inimitable, just like human’s fingerprints. And it’s important for me that every person wearing my clothes felt not just like a wild cat, but like a person having a unique taste (or felt the individuality).

The classification distinguishes 9 subspecies of the tigers, some of which, unfortunately, have been considered disappeared. That fact also played the role in my choice. With my view I wanted to convey all the aesthetics of these wild beautiful dangerous cats, thereby to get the society’s attention to the tigers.
