OASIS | F/W 2023 & FESCH.TV:

Titled „Oasis,“ the film explores the experience of entering a new environment through oneiric imagery. Upon entering a new space, people are reflections of their present world. To emulate this, reflective mylar and metallic clothing were used to interact with the world. A shift in time, as stimulated by the rise and fall of the lights, transforms her outer layer from foil to tulle.

Like a fallen piece of stardust plucked from a heavenly body and arriving at the shores of a waiting land, the nymph, Ani, is tended by the breeze. She feels the waking sun on her new skin. I like to imagine a drop of dye slipping through a body of water, expanding its form as she moves through the air, and landing on a desert.
