Rosemarie DeRienzo, died September 7th, 2022, after a short illness.
Rosemarie Dell DeRienzo was born in the Bronx, New York in 1933. She was the youngest of three children. Rosemarie met her husband Al DeRienzo at a dance and the sparks flew. Stationed on Long Island by the Air Force, they decided to stay on the Island, making it their home. She raised three children and worked as a legal secretary. Since Rosemarie’s husband worked for TWA, she had the opportunity to travel all over the world. Besides her love of travel, Rosemarie had a love for bling! Her friends often called her sparkles! Rosemarie was witty and funny. Her greatest love, however, was her family.
Surviving are her children, John DeRienzo, Daniel DeRienzo, and JoAnn DeRienzo-Breul. Grandchildren: Marie Belmonte, Toni DeRienzo, Nicole Fierro, Steven DeRienzo, Daniel Breul, Alex DeRienzo, Eric DeRienzo, Christopher Breul, Colton Breul, and Maylee DeRienzo. Great grandchildren: Tristen Andrews, Tameron DeRienzo, Tezra DeRienzo, Tavin DeRienzo, Lorenzo Belmonte, and Ace Fierro.
The memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, Oct. 1st at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary 6500 Bell Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85254. Instead of flowers, Rosemarie’s favorite charities are the Muscular Dystrophy Association and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
