Iconic American Bill Bensley has designed some of the world’s most iconic five star one of a kind hotels and resorts, palaces and homes and speaks to Renae about his work, and how he sees the future of luxury travel.
Based between Bangkok and Bali, the visionary American landscape architect (by trade) is changing the face of the luxury hospitality industry one design at a time by shifting the focus from opulence to conservation & sustainability within the footprint of the luxury establishments he creates.
Bill talks to Renae here about growing up in Americas idyllic Orange Country, his chance meeting with the creator of a local theme park in California which then appealed to his inner child and ultimately changed the course of his life.
It led him to a global life of prolific high end design work, a passion for Asia as well as art in many forms. A man excited by life, just listening to him is uplifting.
