Sex Industry Talks with Nel Parker, Episode 7: Part 1, Featuring Kristie Bish & FESCH.TV:

In part one of this 2-part interview with Kristie Bish, we welcome fall and get into the Halloween spirit with matching Star Wars costumes. We talk about how variety is the spice of life, Kristie’s October thus far and her plans for the rest of the holiday season. Kristie has decor for the holiday in (nearly) every single room in her house (and both yards). We discuss Kristie’s love of Dahlia (@DahliaisDopey, a former guest on SITwithNP!), and their special friendship. Kristie takes us on multiple adventures to Disney with Dahlia, recounting the fun and the necessity of „at least one chaotic story per Disney trip“ for it to be complete.

We dive into Kristie’s childhood and how she grew into the person she is today; originating from Florida, she moved to Chicago and had some truly terrifying experiences before settling into her current home of Las Vegas. Kristie talks about how she felt she would not belong in the industry at first – specifically MFC – but she found her way and her camily over the years. She gets into the framework of always trying to beat your best self and your own records, rather than trying to „beat“ anyone else; she says don’t be competitive with others, be competitive with your former self.

We discuss the hustle culture of Las Vegas and it being the true „city that never sleeps.“ Kristie describes aspects of the great, good, bad, and the ugly of MyFreeCams and MFC Social specifically. We „get real“ about a lots of topics in life ranging from working in the SW industry to family and the people we choose to spend our time with and energy on. Kristie talks about how healing being in the adult entertainment industry has been for her – she recalls how much love and positivity she has received since starting out.

We discuss breaking generational traumas and cycles, and standing up for our values. Together, we dive into the lore behind THE Kristie Bish – the name, the brand, the creativity, the puppetry, and more. Kristie divulges her love of The Muppets, but NOT being a fan of the Lion King… We get into sex work advocacy, decriminalization, and normalization of sex work, masturbation, and talk of bodies in general. Kristie describes herself as „a chaotic force of nature,“ and she opens up about her anxiety about going to events and content creation, and how she handles it through compartmentalizing and listening to music to get hyped up for a shoot or event.

Kristie gives amazing advice on how to maintain a work/life balance in the industry, and how to prevent burnout by doing things like having a „slob day“ (or two!) to prioritize yourself. She also gives excellent tips for going about prioritizing and planning to set yourself up for success in the future with streaming and content creation.
