Chinese textile artist, Shamoshuang Lou (楼沙漠霜), shares the beauty of natural dyeing. Now specializing in eco-printing, Shamoshuang was a fashion designer in a previous life. After a few years of making “red carpet” dresses for celebrities, she moved home and opened a dye workshop in a quiet village. Shamoshuang sees natural dyeing as a way of engaging with the environment and her family a little bit differently.
