Shelly And Shelly Used Their Online Business To Move Closer Together So They Can Retire Together

Hi I’m Darren and I’m one half of Darren and Mike and I’m here with Shell squared Shelley and Shelley to talk a little bit about their online business. So when did you go start the business?

We started in August of 2017.And what was your background before?

Well I still work in the oil and gas industry. And I was working in the oil and gas industry and just an office job, I was doing accounts receivable for a welding company.

And now you’re no longer working anymore?

I because of this little online business, I’ve been able to quit. I quit last August.

And what would you say is your favorite thing about this business? I know that’s probably one of them.

There’s so many, well when we first started, like the our, I think our whole why behind all getting on board having an online business was being together, cuz we were two hours apart. And so because of this business, we were able to now have Shell, work full-time on our business, and we’re together in Edmonton now. So that was our first big why. Yeah well and the community, I mean there’s so many amazing people that we’ve met and from all over the world. Actually and the training is outstanding. Yeah I mean just just the whole community, the positive mindset, the helpfulness with everybody, because everybody helps everybody. And I think you know, I’ve never been involved with a business of any kind, even brick-and-mortar business, that’s been that helpful, and that exciting of a group of people. Yeah to have a whole you know, family like we have now, it’s amazing. It is like our second family, we’ve met a lot of great people.

We’ve got some new friends who we’d have never met, had we not gotten into this business. We’ve been able to help people out too.

What would you say is the biggest change in your life from doing the business?

Probably I mean I was able to quit my job, sell my house and move to Edmonton, so we’re in the same place, and not traveling back and forth. And well, I think what’s driving us even further, and it’s gonna make it even more exciting, is when I will be doing this full-time as well. I mean, we’re working hard at getting that aspect of it. and so that will be super exciting. But even just the freedom, like we travel a lot, and we can take this business wherever we go. And I mean, we’ve been to some really beautiful places, and we worked. It’s not like it’s work, when you’re on holidays but it’s amazing. So it’s not, it doesn’t have limitations you know. There’s no worry when you come home from your vacation.

Yeah exactly, I know I’ve been with you on some of those working vacations.

Yeah but it’s been truly amazing, I mean I can’t really say too much more about, how I mean we don’t have enough time, because it’s been just a great experience. And I mean you and Mike, and Leighanne have done such a great job building this organization of ours, it’s amazing. And we can’t thank you enough.
