Painting an abandoned prison nearby in pencil, then watercolor.
For this sketch I used 100% cotton, 140 lbs cold pressed water color paper by Fabriano. It’s the traditional white not the bright white. Please consider following me by liking or subscribing to my channel and supporting me on Patreon. It helps me offer personalized instruction.
The palette is curated using a mix of Windsor and Newton series one and Old Holland classic water colors. I squeezed the pigment into these cute little half pans for travel. The empty and customizable palette is about $10 at most art supply stores and amazon. If you don’t have old tubes of water color paint around to fill a travel palette you can buy travel palettes in art supply stores or crafts stores. There is always amazon but I highly recommend shopping art supply stores first as the quality is going to be better. I like dickblick.com, plazaart.com, jerrysartarama.com
