The Art of Travel Transcendence

I felt love, heart break, joy, sadness, and most of the time I felt lost. It took 7 months, 10 countries, and 17 hosts to find out what makes the traveler different from the tourist – the traveler has an impact on people’s lives, not just the economy. I lived in a ship, hotels, hostels, cars, farms and on couches. I found ways of traveling and living cheaper then I did living in Denver, Co. If you add up the cost of living an independent „normal“ life and then add up the cost of living a modest travel lifestyle – you will find with a little creativity it can even out.
