The Blue Of Distance

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

„The world is blue at its edges and in its depths. This blue is the light that got lost. Light at the blue end of the spectrum does not travel the whole distance from the sun to us. Blue is not in the place those miles away at the horizon, but in the atmospheric distance between you and the mountains.“

Rebecca Solnit’s A Field Guide to Getting Lost is a collection of essays about love, trust, alienation and place. The lead essay, The Blue of Distance, explores how we can live in uncertainty in relation to our desires and even find beauty in distance and separation.
