Welcome to the Grammar Goat.
We are an online English language school for the travel, tourism and hospitality sector. Our English language lessons are online and live, with bespoke learning materials and tailored learning goals based on your individual requirements.
Live online classes are taught by our highly qualified and professional language teachers.
You can study one-to-one or in a small private group.
Live online learning allows us to use technology which isn’t readily available in most physical classrooms. Lessons are live and interactive using zoom. Don’t forget to turn on your camera and microphone for a fully interactive and immersive learning experience.

Our learning methodology is student-centred, with ‘Collaborative Online Learning’ at the heart of our virtual classrooms. We use the latest online learning applications to motivate, educate and communicate.

Our language courses are tailored to specific tourism and hospitality roles. English for boutique hotels, hotel management, lead concierge and butlers, restaurant staff, bar staff and sommelier, reception staff, front of house and back of house.
Lessons are bespoke and designed around you and your learning goals.
Example learning goals are improving fluency when speaking to guests, accuracy when writing business emails or expanding your range of active vocabulary.
We use real life situations to present, practice and produce the target language you need to succeed.
Our mission is to improve language and communication skills which enable individual personalities to shine.

What is a learning package?
A learning package includes the following:
A complimentary discovery meeting
An online placement test to find your language level
All the learning materials for your course
Self-study materials and homework, which we set, mark and give feedback on.
There is also an assessment at the end of each module to track your progress.
A sample five hour module is typically broken up into five one hour lessons. Each module is one giant step on your language learning journey.

When can I have my lessons?
Lesson days and times are flexible. We can work around you – whatever the day or time.
