Hey everyone, Shariff here, and today I’ll be reviewing The Uncompromising Sohan by Penhaligon’s. This 2017 release is truly uncompromising in its character, and I really really like it.

Laotian oud dominates the composition, supported by top notes of roses, saffron, and pink pepper in the opening, laudanum and vetiver in the heart, and a dash of sandalwood in the base. I recommend it for fall and winter wear, especially for guys who prefer luxurious, heavy scents — this one is worth it just for the longevity alone.
