„Throw Away“ – A Short Film Project & FESCH.TV:

In this short film project for the Digital Video course, I explored the theme of fast fashion through the story of a young fashion KOL who embarks on her journey as a fashion vlogger on TikTok. Captivated by the allure of new trends and the rapid pace of the fashion world, she believes it’s harmless to buy large amounts of clothing and then simply dispose of them when they no longer serve her style. She casually tosses aside garments she deems outdated or unwanted, viewing them as mere props for her content.

However, as the story unfolds, these discarded clothes begin to mysteriously reappear, haunting her with their presence. Each item represents the environmental and ethical consequences of her choices, forcing her to confront the impact of her consumer habits. In the end, the clothes metaphorically teach her a lesson, challenging her to rethink her relationship with fashion and the broader implications of her actions.

This project allowed me to blend narrative storytelling with a pressing social issue, creating a thought-provoking piece that critiques the fast-fashion culture while highlighting the importance of sustainable and responsible consumption.
