Thursday, March 25, 2021: Part 4: Oisin passes through Carbon, Utah and drives an hour round trip off the beaten path to see if he could revisit Arches National Park or Canyonlands for a few hours. There were warning signs he disregarded, but once he arrived at the entrance a long-line awaited him, very crowded, Spring Break. Disappointing. No time. Questioning the altitude going from sea level to nearly mile high, and altitude sickness concerns. He decided to skip Arches and just head to Fruit and Grand Junction, check into the hotel, get some dinner at Rib City Grill, and rest before his Covid Vaccination in the morning.
