Tone Recall

The tone function on the E Collar allows us to communicate with our dogs at a distance. Due to distractions in your environment (auditory, olfactory, visual) your dog may not “hear” you when you call them to come. In order to alert them someone is calling them, we use the tone function. The E Collar emits a sound from the receiver when you hit the “T” button on your remote. Located right below your dog’s ears, they will hear this sound & know someone is calling them. We then say “come” because it will let them know where you are in the environment. REMEMBER tone is NOT directional, so by saying “come” lets your dog know where you are & where they must travel to.

If our dog veers off course or blows off your request to “come”, you will give them information via the “S” buttons on your remote. Once they get back on track, you stop tapping the stimulation button & continues to encourage your dog towards you.

Press “T”- tone button
Say “Come”
Encourage your dog towards you.
Tap “S” repeatedly if your dog veers off course.
