Biography:
Sudeeksha Annachhatre is an illustrator and game designer, who has only recently started animating with her use of 2D animation. In my past work, in collaboration with Arthur Grob a fashion designer, I was able to execute character design and analogous stop motion animation presenting the accoutrements designed by Arthur and the imagination that led to its creation.

Artist/Director Statement:
Aamchi Goshta is a story very close to my heart and extremely grounded in reality. आमची गोष्ट(Aamchi Goshta) are Marathi words that build a pun. Aam means mango and Aamchi means ours, conjoining them gives you a new word Aamchi that could mean our or mango’s. Next comes Goshta, which means story. So, the whole title means our story and mango’s story as well.
This movie exemplifies the afternoons enjoyed by these cousins in the city of Pune. The annual month long gathering of the cousins during the summer holidays is never complete without an adventure. When they are together it’s always a new game, in a new world with a new treasure map and it’s all theirs to covet. It’s not that no one else is allowed in their world, the fact of the matter is that no one else will ever be innocent enough to understand their world. Having spent the whole year with the hustle of school life and the bustle of extracurricular, their time with each other in the summer holidays is a much-awaited solace. They never start a game without every one present. These games transport them to their own world that they all believe exists and it evolves for each one of them as if they share a hive mind. The situations keep changing like improv and no one ever questions it, just roll with whatever is suggested to the storyline. In the end, they must always leave the imaginations and enter the real world, but these games never end, they always stay with us, even now.

Sustainability:
• The whole production was digital, leaving no space for material waste.
• All work was executed at home with close to no use of commute and extensive energy resources beyond one iPad and one MacBook air.
• In the period of production there was no consumption of fast food or store brought food, everything was organic and resourcefully made.
• All sound recording as done at the respective homes of the voice artists, by themselves and delivered online.
