A year of exploration and adventures with the Mekong

At the very moment when a drop of a river reaches the sea, another one is born in some glacier.

Tempted by the idea of drawing a journey by following a natural line with its own identity, you parted alone to try to travel along the nearly 5000 km of the Mekong River. No calendars. No clocks.

You wished to slowly savour the taste of that liquid thread that connects the ice of the high Tibetan plateaus with the warm sea of the Great Delta in Vietnam, and to swing gleefully in the constant metamorphosis of its nature and humanity.
You also wanted to explore what the word adventure means to you, whether it was climbing virgin and forgotten peaks, or cycling for months on the back door of Southeast Asia. The path seemed exciting, although not exactly easy…

Thus, for a year the present of its course became the reflection of yours, but also of your yesterday and your tomorrow. And finally, once you accepted your sea, then you had to search for your glacier.
