Travel Destination: Latvia

FESCH.TV INFORMIERT:

This summer we travelled close to home, through our country – Latvia. This short film is a reflection of this trip.
Featured places (in order of appearance):
– Kuldīga (with the widest waterfall in Europe)
– Jūrkalne (the beach on the Baltic shore)
– Alūksne (with very interesting boat houses)
– Vecpiebalga (with locally famous water lillies)
– Krāslava (a nice old town on the shores of river Daugava)
– Different other sights from above of river Daugava in Latgale region
– Foļvarka (and its bright blue Old Believers church)
– Aglona (with its famous Basilica)
– Līksna (its amazing church in the middle of almost nowhere)
– Sabile (the vineyard mentioned in the Guiness World Records book)
– Krustpils (the recently renovated castle)
– Preiļi (its manor in the process of being reborn)
– Velnezers (Devil’s lake, a quiet and mysterious place in a forest near to Aglona)
– Vējiņi underground lakes (the only of its kind in the Baltics)

All this was shot mostly on Panasonic Lumix GH5, with some exceptions when I was being lazy – iPhone 12 Pro Max and Canon 5D Mark IV.
