Known as the State’s most scenic drive, Flagstaff to Sedona Arizona is an amazing trip. Head out of the forests of Flagstaff down 89A, pass through Oak Creek Canyon and experience some truly epic sights, before you get to the even more amazing Painted Desert of Sedona. Just outside of Flagstaff you’ll get a large peek at a canyon you’ll traverse in the miles ahead. Depending on the time of year the trees, brush, and wildlife may vary, but whenever you run 89A, you’re certain to see nature in its glory. Under the backdrop of a legendary Sedona sunset, this could end up being one of your all-time favorite rides. It’s only 30 miles from point to point, and some have been known to make a few round trips before settling down at any one of the many restaurants in Sedona with…wait for it…more of that amazing view.
