UCOF Fall Fashion Festival was initiated as a fundraiser to support its Sewing Hub, which provides free training to immigrants and locals to empower them economically and socially for more positive mental and financial wellness. Harnessing the potential of these talented individuals is instrumental to creating a more culturally diverse, enlightened, and empowered province. The festival arose from the need to celebrate the uniqueness of each colour, race, nationality, and background, in line with the values that each contributes to Canada’s cultural and economic landscape.

The overall aim of United Colours of Fashion is to position New Brunswick as a major fashion hub that empowers fashion enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds by connecting them with the right tools and resources to make a difference in their communities while promoting their cultures and harnessing their talents.
