With the global pandemic shutting down mineral shows around the world, the 2021 Tucson Show still went forward albeit in a completely different way. Most of the main shows were cancelled nevertheless, a few shows still opened up in Tucson to a greatly reduced crowd.

Travel into the United States was still VERY restricted so a lot of the foreign dealers did not get a chance to come to Tucson. However, firmly believing in the axiom, „the show must go on…“ BlueCap Productions decided to film a What’s Hot In Tucson: 2021 in a vastly different way where ALL dealers could still be a part of the show.

For What’s Hot In Tucson: 2021, BlueCap Productions stayed at their home base in Honolulu and conducted NINE DAYS of LIVE interviews, via Zoom, during the February show and an additional day during the April 2021 Tucson show. Show Hosts Peter Megaw and Lauren Megaw retuned again and tuned in LIVE from their respective homes in Tucson, Arizona and Bingen, Washington to personal conduct all the interviews.

All dealers on the program were dealers that would normally be in Tucson during the show and they tuned in LIVE from all over the world. There were even a couple of dealers who did non-LIVE interviews that are included in this complete program.

The result is a What’s Hot In Tucson the likes of which has never been seen before BUT was still able to go on despite the pandemic.
